Why it happens
- Framing was judged on the clean frame without accounting for the platform's UI overlays.
- Subtitles sit at the default very bottom, right under the caption and description text.
- Landscape footage cropped to vertical pushes the subject to the edge.
How to fix it
Overlay the target platform's safe-zone guide in your editor and place subtitles and subjects inside it.
Raise subtitles into the lower-middle of the frame, clear of the bottom bar and the right-side buttons.
Place faces and key props in the centre of the frame at the keyframe stage.
Watch the export full-screen on a phone and confirm nothing important is covered.
Prevent it next time:Storyboard and edit inside a 9:16 frame with safe-zone guides, and do one full-screen phone check before posting.
